500 West Main has been the home of Race Place RC since November 2020. May 7th will be our last day to occupy this wonderful location. We have built a community at 500 that will continue past this location. 500 will always be remembered by its unique shape and tight layouts. There are many cherished memories at 500. Many racers were introduced to on-road racing at this location. Join us from May 5 to May 7, 2023 in saying Farewell to 500 and welcoming the next phase of Race Place RC.
This three day race weekend will be one to remember. Friday will kick off with practice from 8am to 6pm. We will then have our first round of qualifying at 6:30pm. Saturday will begin with practice from 8am to 10am. Qualifying round 2 will begin at 10:30am. Qualifying rounds 3 and 4 will follow Qualifying round 2. We will have lunch catered by none other than Tarahumara’s Mexican Cafe & Cantina. Sunday will begin with practice from 8am to 10am. The mains will begin at 10:30am. The 3 largest classes will have Triple A mains! There will be podium pictures for all mains and trophies for the top 3 of each A main. The top qualifier of each class will receive the coveted TQ Cup!
Registration is now open at RacePlaceRC.com. Latrax Rally, Breakout, GT12, GT12F, LMP12, WGTR, Formula 1, VTA, Front Wheel Drive (FWD) 21.5, USGT and Stock Touring 21.5 are available for registration. If there are not 4 or more in any of the classes by April 6th, the class will be removed from the program. Registration will include a free event shirt. Please complete the registration and payment process completely for each driver. The first class is $40 and each additional class is $15 each. Cost will increase on April 7th to $50 for your first class. Registrations after April 6th are not guaranteed an event shirt. Cancellations on or before April 6, 2023 will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations after April 6, 2023 will not be refunded. We have plenty of seating and will not be limiting the number of racers.
Days Inn by Wyndam is located just off of I-35 and Main. There are ample dining options and it is located less than 2 miles from the track.
